There is a lot to do to have City Council pass a bylaw in 2008 and if you have time to volunteer you can make a difference. Click here for a list of volunteer opportunities.

We are entirely funded by private donations and rely on you!

Your contribution will go towards growing the campaign to have a pesticide bylaw passed. We are  incorporated as a registered non-profit corporation. We do not have charitable status, so cannot give you a tax receipt (although we will send you a receipt). This allows us to freely lobby the City for a healthier Calgary!

Some of the items your contribution will pay for:

Printing postcards/brochures
Web-site hosting costs
Administration: post office box, bank account
Renting info tables at events
Advertising
Hiring staff to coordinate efforts

In-Kind Contributions

We can also use in-kind contributions (e.g. brochure printing). Please email donate@healthycalgary.ca and explain what in-kind contribution you would like to make.

For example, right now we need brochure printing. If we do advertising in future, we will need graphic design.

Member

Become a member of our non-profit organization. As a member, you can elect the Board of Directors and contribute to the direction of our organization at general meetings. The membership fee is on a donations basis (minimum $10)  Click here to sign-up.
